These are prices shops publish themselves: on their own websites, and on the menus they keep in Counterboard. For each thing we take one price per shop (the regular size, or the smallest standard size where there is no regular; for pizza, the 12-inch) and average them by town. No shop is named, and no single shop’s price list is shown.
Prices on delivery apps are left out, because they are usually higher than in the shop, and so are chains. A town gets a page only when we have prices from at least 5 different shops in the last six months, and a UK figure for a thing only once 3 towns have one, or 15 shops in all. Shops’ prices are read again every few months, and anything older than six months is left out.
Writing about prices where you are? You are welcome to quote these figures with a link to the page they came from.
With Counterboard you change them from your phone, and your TV menu board, printed menu and QR menu all update. You say what you want your board to look like in your own words, and it is drawn for you.
One screen free, for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board. No card.
