Meat by the kilo, cuts by the piece, sausages and burgers by the pack, meat packs, barbecue boxes and the hot food some counters sell at lunch. Prices follow the market, and a chalkboard rewritten every week is a job nobody has time for. Put your menu or price list on a screen and a price changes the day it does, from your phone behind the counter.

One screen free, for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board, no card. Without the band £14 a month for one screen, and £7 for each screen after it. No VAT charged.

Why shops move
Most signage companies hand you a screen and keep the software. A new price, a line you have sold out of, a special for the weekend: you email it over and wait, and it goes up when it suits them.
Counterboard hands you the keys. Changing the price per kilo and the meat packs is typing the new number into your phone behind the counter: the board is drawn again with it and every screen in the shop has it in about two minutes. We draw your board for you, with your prices on it, at no extra cost. We just do not keep hold of it afterwards.
Your first board is free. Each paid screen includes 2 price updates a month. More cost £1 each, sold in packs from £5.
What you get on day one
You do not start at a blank screen and you do not hire a designer. Say how the board should look, type your prices or photograph the list you have, and press one button. About two minutes later a finished board is on the screen: your name across the top and every price printed on it, in sections for Beef, Pork and Lamb and Meat Packs, or whatever yours are called. Not quite right? Say what to change, in words, and it is drawn again.
Make a barbecue board for the summer and a Christmas order board for December, and switch the screen between them. Deep red and cream, or clean and modern: you say how it looks.
Getting your prices on it
Take a picture of your printed board, your leaflet or your delivery listing. The prices are read off it in seconds and come back typed out, for you to check before the board is drawn. No typing out a hundred lines, which is the reason most shops never get round to this.
You do not have to do even that yourself the first time. Send us the photograph and we set your first board up for you, at no extra cost, before you have paid us anything.
What you need
A smart screen runs it on its own. An older one needs a streaming stick in the HDMI socket, about £30 from any shop, or we send you one set up. Each screen keeps the menu or price list on itself, so the board stays up when the line goes down. The price goes by how many screens you put up: £14 a month for one screen, and £7 for each screen after it.

Not on the list? Counterboard works for any shop with a price list, and we will draw a board for a trade we have not drawn yet. Every trade is on one page.
