Digital menu boards for street food traders, vans and market stalls

A street food menu changes with the pitch. A festival price is not a Tuesday market price, the special sells out by two, and the board painted on the side of the van cannot keep up with any of it. Put a screen in the hatch and the menu is whatever you said it was this morning, changed from your phone between serving.

Fourteen days free, no card. After that £14 a month for one screen, £22 for two, £32 for three or four, and £45 for five or more. No VAT charged.

The board of Smash Street Burgers, an example shop, with panels for burgers, make it a meal and sides
Drawn by Counterboard AI in about a minute, from a few words and a price list. Smash Street Burgers is an example shop: yours is drawn to your own description, with your name and your prices on it.

Why shops move

You make the changes, not us

Most signage companies hand you a screen and keep the software. A new price, a line you have sold out of, a special for the weekend: you email it over and wait, and it goes up when it suits them.

Counterboard hands you the keys. Changing the prices for each event, and what has sold out is typing the new number into your phone behind the counter: the board is drawn again with it and every screen in the shop has it in about a minute. We draw your board for you, with your prices on it, at no extra cost. We just do not keep hold of it afterwards.

What you get on day one

Your board, drawn for you, in about a minute

You do not start at a blank screen and you do not hire a designer. Say how the board should look, type your prices or photograph the list you have, and press one button. About a minute later a finished board is on the screen: your name across the top and every price printed on it, in sections for Burgers, Make it a Meal and Sides, or whatever yours are called. Not quite right? Say what to change, in words, and it is drawn again.

Make a board for the festival and one for the weekly market, each drawn from its own list, and switch the screen between them from your phone. A TV or monitor in the van or your unit and a streaming stick is all it needs, and the board keeps showing with no signal at all.

Getting your prices on it

Photograph the menu you already have

Take a picture of your printed board, your leaflet or your delivery listing. The prices are read off it in seconds and come back typed out, for you to check before the board is drawn. No typing out a hundred lines, which is the reason most shops never get round to this.

You do not have to do even that yourself the first time. Send us the photograph and we set your first board up for you, at no extra cost, before you have paid us anything.

What you need

Probably the TV you already have

A smart TV runs it on its own. An older one needs a streaming stick in the HDMI socket, about £30 from any shop, or we send you one set up. Each screen keeps the menu on itself, so the board stays up when the line goes down. The price goes by how many screens you put up, from £14 a month for one.
