Opening hours on a TV or screen in your window

The hours on the door are the sign every customer reads, and the one that is most often wrong: a bank holiday on a bit of card, a late night that nobody updated. A screen in the window shows hours that are right, in your colours, and changes from your phone.

One screen free, no card. Works on any screen with a web browser, or any screen with an HDMI socket and a streaming stick.

The board of Rise & Shine Bakery, an example bakery, with bread, pastries, cakes
Drawn by Counterboard AI in about two minutes, from a few words and a price list. Rise & Shine Bakery is an example shop: yours is drawn to your own description, with your name and your prices on it.

An hours board

Drawn for a pharmacy, from a few words

Hartley Pharmacy, an example shop: an opening hours board with the seven days and their hours on a dark green wall
Hartley Pharmacy is an example shop. The owner wrote the hours and said: dark green, marble, our name big. Counterboard AI drew this in about two minutes.

You are the designer. You say what you want in your own words: the colours, your name across the top, what goes where. AI designs the finished board in about two minutes. Not quite right? Say what to change and it is drawn again. There is no design software to learn, and nobody else trying to guess what is in your head.

How it works

Three steps, once

  1. Say the hours and the lookType the seven days and their times, and say the look you want: your colours, your name across the top, calm or bold. A photo of the sign you have is fine too.
  2. It is drawnCounterboard AI designs the board in about two minutes. Not right? Say what to change and it is drawn again.
  3. Put it on the screenA smart screen’s browser, our free app on a Fire TV Stick, or any screen with a stick in it. Face it out of the window or stand it by the door. It comes back on by itself every morning.

Why a screen

Hours that are never wrong

Bank holidays and late nights

Change the hours from your phone the night before and the window picks them up on its own. Change them back after. No card in the window, no tape.

It can show more than hours

The same screen can turn between the hours, a welcome board, a notice and an offer, each drawn the same way, so the window works for you after you have gone home.

It looks like your shop

Your name, your colours, the feel of the place. Not a printed sign from the stationer with a clock face on it.

What it costs

Priced by how many screens you put up

One screen free, for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board, and no card. Without the band, so much a screen: £14 a month for one screen, and £7 for each screen after it. No VAT charged. The price list on the front page shows it in dollars and euros too.

Every screen gets the same dashboard and the same boards; what changes with the price is how many screens you put up and how many credits come with them. Each screen gets a board drawn for it, free. After that everything we draw is credits, and a credit is a pound: a price change is one, a new look or an item added, taken off or renamed is two, a whole new board is three. Each paid screen includes two credits a month, and they start again on the 1st; more can be bought inside Counterboard, ten for £9 or more in a bigger pack, with no change to your plan. No contract: cancel any time.

Questions

What people ask

Can I put my opening hours on a screen?

Yes. Type the hours on Counterboard, say the look, and the board is drawn in about two minutes. Any screen with a browser or an HDMI socket shows it.

Does the screen have to be in the window?

No. By the door, behind the counter, in reception: anywhere people look for the hours. A screen facing out of a window is read from the street.

What about bank holidays?

Change the hours from your phone the night before; the board is redrawn and the screen has it in about two minutes. A line changed on the free screen is one credit (£1).

Is it free?

One screen is free for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board and no card. The hours board itself is drawn free for that screen.

Will the screen come back on by itself?

Yes. When the screen comes on in the morning the board is there, with our Fire TV app or the browser way the dashboard gives you.
