A what's on board for your pub, on a TV or screen

Every pub has a what's on: the quiz, the steak night, the band, the match, the roast. It lives on a chalkboard that is rubbed out on a Tuesday and a poster that peels. A screen in the bar shows the week in the look of the place, and next week is typed on your phone.

One screen free, no card. Works on any screen with a web browser, or any screen with an HDMI socket and a streaming stick.

The board of The Anchor Bar, an example bar, with draught, wine, soft drinks
Drawn by Counterboard AI in about two minutes, from a few words and a price list. The Anchor Bar is an example shop: yours is drawn to your own description, with your name and your prices on it.

A what's on board

Drawn for a pub, from a few words

The Red Lion, an example pub: a what's on this week board with quiz night, steak night, live music, the football and Sunday roast, lettered in gold on a dark board
The Red Lion is an example pub. The landlord typed the week and said: old pub, dark wood, gold lettering, our lion. Counterboard AI drew this in about two minutes.

You are the designer. You say what you want in your own words: the colours, your name across the top, what goes where. AI designs the finished board in about two minutes. Not quite right? Say what to change and it is drawn again. There is no design software to learn, and nobody else trying to guess what is in your head.

How it works

Three steps, once

  1. Say the week and the lookType what is on each day, and say the look: traditional, modern, your colours, your name and your sign across the top.
  2. It is drawnCounterboard AI designs the board in about two minutes. Not right? Say what to change and it is drawn again.
  3. Put it on the screenThe screen in the bar already does the football; this is a board on it between games, or on its own screen. A smart screen’s browser, our free app on a Fire TV Stick, or any screen with a stick in it.

Why a board

The week, where people are looking

Next week, from your phone

Type the changes on your phone, the board is redrawn, the screen has it. No chalk, no printer, no laminator.

It can turn with the drinks board

So many seconds of what’s on, so many of the draught list, so many of the food. One screen, several boards, each drawn the same way.

It looks like your pub

Dark wood and gold, or clean and modern: the board is drawn to your description, with your name on it, not a template with a pint glass clip-art.

What it costs

Priced by how many screens you put up

One screen free, for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board, and no card. Without the band, so much a screen: £14 a month for one screen, and £7 for each screen after it. No VAT charged. The price list on the front page shows it in dollars and euros too.

Every screen gets the same dashboard and the same boards; what changes with the price is how many screens you put up and how many credits come with them. Each screen gets a board drawn for it, free. After that everything we draw is credits, and a credit is a pound: a price change is one, a new look or an item added, taken off or renamed is two, a whole new board is three. Each paid screen includes two credits a month, and they start again on the 1st; more can be bought inside Counterboard, ten for £9 or more in a bigger pack, with no change to your plan. No contract: cancel any time.

Questions

What people ask

Can I put what's on at the pub on the screen?

Yes. Type the week on Counterboard, say the look, and the board is drawn in about two minutes. Any screen with a browser or an HDMI socket shows it.

Can it show the drinks prices too?

Yes. A drinks board is drawn the same way, and a paid screen turns between the two for as many seconds each as you set.

What does changing the week cost?

A line changed is one credit (£1), a line added or taken off is two, a whole new board three. Each paid screen includes two price updates a month.

Is it free?

One screen is free for as long as you like, with a small counterboard.com band on the board and no card.

Does it work on the screen that shows the football?

Yes, if it is a smart screen or has a Fire TV Stick: open the board between games. Many pubs put the board on its own cheap screen by the bar instead.
